Day -1: Saturday night, the last real night to party down. Bad Apple got snockered at the Keevers playing beer pong. Amazingly Bad Jimmy had only 1 beer playing poker (or is it Poke Her). Nat had a headache so I had to be good (yes, it's sickening).

Day 0: Sunday, Bad Jimmy went to Pluckers around noonish to watch the game. When I got there around 3, he was still Beecher. We had our yummy Pluckers wings and Pluckers lemonade (super sized me pls) together. Sleazy joined us and helped me out with some marketing pointers for the restaurant. Next thing I know, Trey came to hang with Bad Jimmy followed by Bad Apple and Jerry Guy. The funny thing is that Apple was designated driver yesterday because Jerry Guy wanted to drink. LOL He still managed to do a few shots and a couple of xtra large beers. I was semi good and left before 11. Of course I had to get in good with the bartender, Mike, to make sure I got a spy to catch Bad Jimmy drinking after midnight. Net net, nobody drank after midnight.

Day 1: Woke up to a fresh start. No word from Apple at all. I think he's scared. Bad Jimmy called to say he was safe from last night of evilness. (mention something about the best boobies he ever touch, tmi). It was a rough hard day at work dealing with normal work tasks and preparing for the opening. Got a sms from Corey at 6:25 p.m. "After a long day out, this cold beer sure does feel good going down!" What a friend! butt Found out that he's betting for me to lose first. Went to the restaurant to meet people from the Chronicle. First temptation, the guy across from me had an icy gel Harbin (my fav beer). I held my ground and drank ice tea. 2nd temptation that I almost fell for was from Nat. As I was closing out, he came in the office with a bottle of openned Harbin saying that it was accidentally opened. I was about to take it when I realized that it was a trick. Trey ended up drinking it. bunch of tricky peeps.

Off to a not sooo good start

It's the first week of New Year and I'm not doing that well.

It always start off so innocently. I went to a business meeting to discuss marketing for the restaurant. Then I decided to go meet up with the hash for the full moon at Keevers. One thing led to another and Bad Apple and Bad Jimmy persuade the Asian to go to Raggedy Ass. You know it's a real bad night when Apple decides to be responsible and go home by 11ish. However, it could be worse. I didn't close the bar down.

Maybe Bad Jimmy is right. I need to stay away from the "bad" environment such as Bad Jimmy, Bad Apple, Bad Trey, Bad Peter, Bad Corey, etc. Hey wait a minute. These are all men. Maybe that's it. I need to hang out with more chicks. hmmm Will Jerri Girl be good for me?

There's always next week to be good :-P

Mae Xing came out to visit

Last Friday it started out sooo innocently. I got off work a bit early so I called Corey out. We went to Little Woodrows around 4 (I think). We decided to sms Bad Jimmy to see waddup. We figured he was either at the usual Sugars or P10. To our amazement, he was grocery shopping. No way! How could it be! He came and met up with us afterwards....and it begins. Bad Jimmy kept ordering 1 more round. We all know what happens to Marisa after (4) Fireman 4s. I turn into Mae Xing.

The boys went to the restaurant for dinner with Ann. I was suppose to go home and work on the newletter for NYE. For some reason, I drifted to G's and wanted some alone time. Around 10 p.m., Bad Jimmy, Bad Apple, and Corey showed up at G's. Mae Xing was really blasted that she had to revert to diet coke (which she normally don't drink) and had a gallon of it. I can't say much for G's because it was a little blurry. Apparently, Trey and Alisa met up with us and there was also a great band. Bad Mae Xing! She's suppose to die in Mexico earlier this year. Marisa is suppose to go to the Hovii for some great friends time with karaoke or do the newsletter.

But wait...Mae Xing was suppose to go back home after G's. She started heading there and waited for the light to turn. Forget this long light! Headed to meet the group at Homer's instead. Ended up sobering up and driving Corey home...as usual. Bad JImmy, Bad Apple, and Fluffer all bailed on taking the boy home.

Saturday around noon, Bad Jimmy and Bad Apple came over to pick me up for lunch. These 2 shouldn't go out together! They decided to do hit the bars on Burnet road. We went to Ginny's Little Longhorn without a lot of cash. We had 3 dollar bills and loose change. We were able to get 2 Lone Stars and 1 Schlizt. We also went to Lala's, poodle dog, and Graffiti's.

The whole day we were smsing and calling Corey almost every hour. We drunk dial Sleazy, Trevor, Brownie, I think AG, Billie, and many others I can't seem to recall right now. We also sent a pic of this cool older guy that looked like Rob to him. This guy felt bad for us cashless dorks and bought us a round at Ginny's.

All in all, it was a great day and I wasn't drunk! I couldn't drink that much so I was the DD for the Bad asses. We were out about 10 hours! Damn people.

I went to Minneapolis the last weekend of November for work. Life there is so different. Everything is indoors. We stayed at the Hilton downtown, which is 3 buildings away from Oracle. Most of the downtown buildings are connected on the 2nd floor by the skyway. I feel like we're little hamsters walking around. :-)

The restaurants there are fabulous. It's quite interesting to see 2 happy hours. From 4 - 7 for the office crowds and from 10 - 12 for the service industry. Some of the restaurants turns into a lounge/club on some nights with DJs and dancing. One of the places we had a blast was Chino Latino. Of course the incigator that I am, I ordered sake bombs for the team. It was $10 a pop! However, it comes with a silly headband that we thought it was sooo cool. It was a great way to boost up morale and the group up.

We hit the jackpot by being there for the team holiday outing. We celebrated by going curling Curling in Wiki. Yes, it's the "silly/boring" game that you saw on the olympics. I wasn't looking forward to it because I'm not very athletic and not to mention, I'm a klutz. It looked like an ice skating rink but you are on regular shoes with soft soles. Within the first 5 mins, I fell on my lovely butt in front of the Oracle employees that I didn't know. nice. Anyhow, it turned out to be a blast! I loved it. It's a great team building event. Kind of like bowling but with several "rocks" using strategic moves to beat the opponent. fun fun fun!

My God sister, Alice, also lived there. She's the hotty on the far left. Barry, my teammate/friend in the middle was bless by her single friends everynight. Here is a pic of Alice, Lily, Barry, Xing, and I at Zelo, the trendy Italian place.

She also took me to a really cool museum Walker Art Center. It's been so long since I went to a museum.

Overall, I thought MPLS is a cool place to visit. It's cold but there're alternatives to hide from the cold.

Hovii showed me Keever's "wii"...

I've been hearing Amanda talk all about this wii and I thought...just another game. Last night, Nat & I decided to go to Rob & Lynn's pad for Thanksgiving since the restaurant's closed (1st day off since June 2006). It was soooo fun! We created little "mii's for Nat & I & Barger too. I think that's the best part. Then we started playing tennis and boxing. Of course I sucked at everything especially the boxing. Hey, I'm a lover not a fighter!

Keever, thanks for letting us borrow your wii while you are in Disney. We love your wii but if Janna had a wii, we would like it better. :-p

Clazy Asian Weekend

It's been a long time but now I'm back. I should have more time to blog now.

Now that Chon Som is up and running, it's becoming a local hang out for our friends. We have people swinging by and coming in for drinks and dinner. It's fun!

This past weekend I had a party for my Virgos (James, Justin, and Nat). The plan is to have cake at Chon Som from 10 - 11 and then head to Graffiti's for some karaoke. How much damage would it be since G's closes at 1 a.m.? Well, after getting kicked out of G's at 1:30, everyone insisted on going to Chon Som since we had 2 coolers filled w/ beer. Apparently, I don't remember half the night! Why? We had 1 small request..."Don't feed the Asians any liquor". And what did Trey do? Our humble server decides to test us by buying us shots. All hell broke loose. I'm still not quite sure what happened. I woke up to go to Chon Som, came down to see Apple past out on my couch. He told me that he had to drive us home (a whole 1/2 block from Chon Som). This is how pathetic it got if Day Old Fish was the DD. LOL I came to find out that we were partying like a rock star with Stefanie, Ricky, Le Roi till 6:30 a.m.! No wonder I felt like crap.

All in all, I wanted to thank everyone that made Nat feels special for his birthday. He had a blast!

A few things I do remember:
* For some reason, Trey had a maxi pad on his head
* Nat was screaming "Lets F*ck up"
* Apple past out and got sharpied "I love p*nis" on his neck
* Stefanie took off her bra at G's
* The girls were lined up dancing to "Baby Got Back" in front of the stage.

Nat and Alisa will be going into a restaurant venture together. The concept will be a bit of fusion with a sushi bar in the Wells Branch neighborhood. We are hoping to finish remodeling and open September 1st. Hope to get support from everyone.

We finally decided on a name that we all agree on. Boonasia....Boon is a universal word for "blessed". What do you think?

Great way to spend Sunday

It's been a long time since I posted. Things been a little hectic. If all goes well, I'll be able to tell you peeps all about it soon.

This past Sunday my family and I went to a co-ed/kid friendly/pool party/baby shower. I was not looking forward to another "baby shower". However, this one was different. There were plenty of mango mojitos, wine, beer, and AWESOME Thai food! mmmm I could still taste the food. It's only 9 and I'm hungry! Anyway, this baby shower was from 1 till 11 p.m. Dang!

Yep! Another on the whimp trip! Nat and I will be going to Tulum, Mexico for my cousin's wedding http://www.jeffandjenbeachwedding.com/. It will be the reunion of the Usamanonts. So you think I'm wild and crazy, you should see my family. I'm actually the tame one of the group. After everyone leaves, Nat & I will start 2 extra days for some "quality" time in Cancun. It should be a blast! I'm soooo excited. I'm going to Mexico...I'm going to Mexico...I'm going to Mexico. I get the feeling that Mei Qing (my east coast drinking name) will be out dancin' on Mexican bars.

I was driving into work today listening to JB and Sandy (94.7). They were discussing myspace. Apparently, Sandy (with a steady girlfriend...in a happy relationship), met this "cool" chick in myspace. He wants to be friends with her because she just seems so "cool" according to her profile. He's been exchanging emails with her and thought it would be great to go wakeboarding with her.

He called his girlfriend on the radio and see if she's okay with it. She thought it was weird but if he wants to do it, go ahead. Obviously she wasn't thrilled.

Is she being a jealous uncool girlfriend?

It was a beautiful Sunday with a last minute surprised guest to top it off. Yes, Rob flew in Father Bob to make this day a more memorable day to be with friends. We gathered at the marina overlooking Lake Travis sharing stories, memories, singing (Keever, you didn't tell me there will be karaoke ;-), and of course topped it off with Jameson and Lonestars on Infinity.

TXIH Pub Crawl

It was a blast! Thanks SMB and DBD for haring an awesome pub crawl.

I got to LJ and Apple was already incoherent. What the heck happened? A few people had to shove him into the cab by 9 p.m.! What a loser :-D.

Anyhow, there were a lot of out of towners and some old hashers I haven't seen in awhile...Twin Peaks and Pinball.

I was good and had only 2 beers ...a shot and left by 10:15. At the same time, I was bad and insigated a bunch of harriets to go dance on the bar at Touche. Anybody have pictures I could post?

I took a few friends to the Tilted Kilt last night. Afterwards we went to Hooters for wings. It was the usual scene. Chicks in orange shorts shorts from the 70s. After awhile, we had to go back to Tilted Kilt.

So are Tilted Kilt Chicks hotter than Hooters Girls? True the theme is very cute, hot sexy school girls, but the skirts are cut weird or too tight or something. They all looked like they have beer bellies. Some are indeed hot but Hooter Girls, eventhough their outfits needs to be updated, look better.

Personally, I don't care :-D

Keever's Crawlfish Boil 2006

It was indeed a long day. After the wedding shower, I went to the Keevers for the Crawlfish party. It was an awesome way to spend the afternoon....good friends, food, cold beer, dominos, batminton, karaoke, and of course beer pong. Heard this party went on till about 6 a.m. Dang! The Keevers really know how to throw a party. It was nice to see most of the Keevers (missing Brian) together. Talk about a cool family.

Afterwards I went to a Romanian B-Day/House Warming Party for Carmen, this girl from work. Carmen told me to try the homemade Apple Schnapps. How strong could it be if its a schnapps?...

In most culture its considered rude to turn down food/beverage that are offered to you. Her parents are in town from Romania. Apparently they don't speak English but of course her mom and I bonded w/ the language of booze. She poured me the Apple Schnapps in a shot glass and one for herself. I looked at it and shoot it down...DANG! If there was any sort of flame, I would be on fire! I had to take a break after that. Didn't want to be unconscious for my Romanian experience. So I moved into the dinning area and had really great cabbage rolls (stuffed w/ ground meat and topped w/ sour cream) and fried risotto. Romanian food is yummy...not to mention the homemade cake.

I was told to try to special margarita. It had orange juice and red pepper and stuff. It was very interesting and potent. They turn down most of the lights and started blasting Romanian dance music. It was awesome! Do you listen to 94.7 JB&Sandy in the mornings? They play this yoddling song from Europe every so often. I could never figure out the name of the song for Sleazy to get for me. Well, it turns out that its a Romanian song and its about SMS sex between 2 lovebirds. LOL You never know what you are listening to when its in another language.

I'm in such a good mood today. So I finally decided to create my very own blog.

This morning I got my little behind out of bed and did my last 5k for awhile. It was the Stampede 5K at the rodeo. The race course was blah but it was still great to race. I wore my proud Barfly Racing Team t-shirt. Too bad the team hasn't been very active. Maybe we need Wanker Brownie to get back into gear. I will miss racing for sure but my left knee is starting up. I'm going to rest for awhile.

Today will be a busy day...as usual.
