Yep! Another on the whimp trip! Nat and I will be going to Tulum, Mexico for my cousin's wedding http://www.jeffandjenbeachwedding.com/. It will be the reunion of the Usamanonts. So you think I'm wild and crazy, you should see my family. I'm actually the tame one of the group. After everyone leaves, Nat & I will start 2 extra days for some "quality" time in Cancun. It should be a blast! I'm soooo excited. I'm going to Mexico...I'm going to Mexico...I'm going to Mexico. I get the feeling that Mei Qing (my east coast drinking name) will be out dancin' on Mexican bars.

Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention, our vacation partner will be joining us also. Can you guess...the Hovii!

Happiness is a happy family

I always believe that is what makes happiness. My sister will be moving back to Austin tonight! She is the best! For those who've meet her, knows why. Can't wait for the yummy food and getting spoiled rotten by my mom, my hubby, and now my sister.

Woo Hoo

I finally finished my taxes. All I have to say is "gotta love Turbo Tax". First pass I owed $2000+. Then this past Saturday I combed through all the deductions and now I'm getting $811 back! Yippee.

I know I'm very behind in my posts. I'll update my blogs w/ NYC and Juggifer's Wedding pics soon.

It's a piece of cake...not! It's not Nat perfect but it was the best seller for my god-daughter's birthday party. And to think, I was hung over when I did it.

Jealousy?

I was driving into work today listening to JB and Sandy (94.7). They were discussing myspace. Apparently, Sandy (with a steady girlfriend...in a happy relationship), met this "cool" chick in myspace. He wants to be friends with her because she just seems so "cool" according to her profile. He's been exchanging emails with her and thought it would be great to go wakeboarding with her.

He called his girlfriend on the radio and see if she's okay with it. She thought it was weird but if he wants to do it, go ahead. Obviously she wasn't thrilled.

Is she being a jealous uncool girlfriend?

It was a beautiful Sunday with a last minute surprised guest to top it off. Yes, Rob flew in Father Bob to make this day a more memorable day to be with friends. We gathered at the marina overlooking Lake Travis sharing stories, memories, singing (Keever, you didn't tell me there will be karaoke ;-), and of course topped it off with Jameson and Lonestars on Infinity.

Could you live a year w/o shopping?

A friend of mine sent me an interesting link today. I think I could do it because I've done it! The first couple of years in Austin, I was extremely broke being a recent graduate.

If you think about it, most people spend more when they make more. When I was younger, I could live on next to nothing. And now....lets not go there.
